Listening to Voices 2 – Connect Now!

(What If This Is True?)

Chapter Two

I am of two minds about many things, are you?

So, what is the first thing I did this morning? …began wondering if I should write chapter two – and I spent an hour mentally going around in circles.

Keying off the short part, to which I listened,  of what was probably a long political speech delivered by one of the minor U.S. Presidential contenders last night, I began thinking about the Constitution which he insisted should be governing us and, if he was elected, to which overriding governance we would return.

So I finally asked, should I be writing about the Constitution (something about which I now am of two minds).

No answer. Finally, I began my "religious ritual" of tap, tap, tapping and demanding clarity. First dose of clarity was that I was to write nothing about the Constitution. I kept on knocking and demanding for clarity and then:

"You have already forgotten the lesson of chapter one."

"Oops, I heard that."

I was headed toward reading it and realized it was wisdom from the past …Or was it? …and I do remember, without reading it again, that the lesson in chapter one was to avoid paying attention to anything INCLUDING "WISDOM" that kept me from asking our SPIRIT-PARENT "what now?"

When you were looking at the woman in the red dress did you ask, "what now Daddy"?

Oh, oh, what I have just spent an hour avoiding, albeit unconsciously and unintentionally was our SPIRIT-PARENT. I have absolute clarity (now), after only a few moments of doing what I've been shown to do, that is, knocking and demanding until I "hear" the voice of our (yours and my) SPIRIT-PARENT.

And in this wonderful aura of clarity of HER/HIS/IT (SPIRIT's) presence and power, I finally understand the importance of the title I was given for this little journey: Listening to Voices – I can come back to that (understanding) in a moment along with a correction from Spirit.

I'd sent the draft of the first chapter to Ryan, of course, but I also copied five other people. One of whom wrote back:

"Hi Brad,

Wayne Dyer taught me something when I heard him speak one time. He said that when he first started speaking in public, he used to get really nervous and had all kinds of notes, etc. Then it dawned on him. Just let Spirit speak through him. Since then, he doesn't use notes (with some exceptions). So, I took that from him. Now I just trust Spirit to speak through me. What's meant to be said will be said whether I find fault with it or not. And the people that need to hear it will hear it even if only one person was meant to get that message."

At first, I almost totally discounted what had been written because I thought she had missed the point which, as we will see, I missed. I thought the point was that what somebody else said was not to govern me, but only what I got directly from the SOURCE.

Now I hear another voice: "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater."

"What now?" …I just asked our SPIRIT-PARENT — is that from You?

"No – that one fits perfectly with "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink."

"A horse has better sense than to drink bathwater?" I said laughing.

"They both take you away from looking for Living Water from Me. Living water is not bathwater, neither is the water of judgment Living Water which you saw was represented by the metaphor of the horse being led to drink, but wouldn't."

Then I remembered …another voice, forty years ago through somebody that has become one of whom I count as my five closest friends:

"If it needs to be said it will get said."

Is there any dead water? Could you be dead water?

"Does that mean that both the e-mail and the voice forty years ago were actually You writing and speaking through them?"

"Here is what you need to understand and write: It was I AM in you thirsty for Living Water, just as I AM in those who have been thirsty for Living Water who hear My words through you. You have correctly chosen to refuse to take credit for these words because you understood I AM in Jesus just as you understand I AM in Wayne Dyer …and what you are able to hear now, that is, your brother Wayne is not taking credit for what I AM saying either."

Okay, then, was I sensing correctly about the title You gave me, Listening to Voices, that is, there are six levels from which I hear: Conscious memory, subconscious imbedding, spirit-agents (not from You) Spirit-agents (from You) Your voice directly, and Your voice through Spirits occupying human bodies(?)

"What you need to concern yourself with and share with others is that what is of key importance in these "latter days" is to realize that you cannot hear from I AM unless you are thirsty for Living Water and all who thirst will receive. That is enough for now."

I asked about the reference to "latter days" since it has all kinds of religious overtones connected with all the current hubbub surrounding 2012. I am assured that our SPIRIT-PARENT will deal with it clearly next time.
